In order to meet the need for iron-containing products used as the main raw material by Uzmetkombinat JSC and reduce dependence on metal scrap, on February 6, 2025, within the framework of the investment project “Organization of the production of DRI”, “Bekobod DRI Plant” LLC was established for the production of DRI with a 75% and 25% share of Uzmetkombinat JSC and the Fund for Reconstruction and Development, respectively (No. 2718743 of 06.02.2025). The special company consists of specialists who have implemented several projects at Uzmetkombinat JSC and have more than 10 years of experience in the field of metallurgy and economics.
